MT clarification


I want to laugh :D

F4 clear up. DO NOT SAY I LIKE F4!!! Just the thought gave me a heart attack.

I think that Meteor Garden is funny and should NOT be taken seriously. It is a ridiculous and interesting love story aka somewhat unlikely. Not the pairing, but rather their juvenile behaviour. that's what makes is so funny. I would probably recommend it if I had nothing to do, it's entertainment rather than romance. (if you want serious story and drama, you'll be wasting your time) I think the reason why Meteor Garden 2 (which I haven't and am unlikely to watch) failed was because it lacked the humor of MT 1. Because it lacked the humor, audiences were forced into taking it seriously. And by that the story takes on a whole different perspective, that's why it sucked. In dramas, humor precedes story, strip the humor from story, and you'd better have a darn good cast (which F4 are... i doubt i need to explain) or a darn good storyline. Best both, to keep audiences hanging on edge of their seat.

By now I suppose it's obvious that I don't favor f4 in any way whatsoever. Nor do I hate them. Quite frankly, I don't give a damn.

(though i do sometimes get very entertained when I see someone going gaga over them)
