my sea of stars
I thought I'd miss the stars, but guess what? My apartment has a view of the sea!
I can see the ships, and they have all these lights that look like little stars on the sea! :D Someone told me that the sea around Singapore is a parking lot for those waiting to come into port. :) Who knew parking lots can be so pretty?
You can see the indonesian islands in the distance too.
The water's turquoise, not the deep blue like in Seattle.
And boy, it feels like a sauna. XD
When I said I want to swim every single day, my dear friend screamed "WHAT?! Do you really want a tan that bad?"
Don't you like to float around? :) Besides, I have to get rid of my V-neck tan line! XD
I love this apartment! I wish the inside was as good as the views. We just got granite floors and they look great, but our furniture is deteriorating and our white sofa turned yellow in the humidity. We have no beds so we sleep on the floor, and the parquet is scratched.
We've changed the window treatments but the wall underneath it is rather damp on rainy days and the other walls aren't clean anymore. The stone in the bathroom has lost its lustre and the bed in the masterbed room is so big, we can't really get around it.
Look, I even have bruises on my hip to prove it!
Well, you can't see it anyways.
Guess two months won't be that long after all.
I went to parkway parade today too. It was crowded....compared to Seattle. Well, I've seen worse, but suddenly, I'm not so comfortable with so many people around me any more.
It was after school, so there were all the uniformed kids running around, mostly the young couples. Saw a girl with a cute guy wearing a smug grin on her face walk right past me. (Yeah, the girl was smiling.) lol, I would be smug too if I had someone better looking than me!
I hold myself in high regard, so shut up *hmprf!*
"Well, I can't really tell I'm over him unless I find another guy."
True huh. But I've never liked someone long enough to get over.
"So, you're the type that gets over people very quick huh?"
Well, probably not anymore. O.o Need to find a target first!
