To my beloved chicken thighs, spare ribs and sirloin steaks, I have ditched you once again for the innocent looking TOFU!!!!
Gasp as you will!
Why did I fly halfway across the world only to meet up with my beloved tofu?
WONDER WONDER! Let me describe its American counterpart. It's LOUD! It screams "HAVE ME! I'm HOT!"
The asian one however, has this element of surprise!
The dainty pieces sit innocently on the plate, decorated with translucent chilli sauce and chopped peanuts. NO SMOKE. NO STEAM.
Then you take a bite.
It's juices flood into your mouth and there you go, screaming obscenities into the chaotic world around you.
Ooo tasty little fiesties they are! <-- sounds like something yoda would say O_o
But they're really really smooth inside!
Man, they scare the shit out of you but you just keep coming back for more *hahah*
To the tofu: Every time we meet, though brief, it leaves me breathless (and screaming for water).
"I will love again~~ though my heart is breaking I will love again, stronger than before!!!"
( all this for tofu. lol shit lah.)
