due to lack of sleep, my entire world is in a haze now.
I finished my homework yesterday, but I have plenty more to do...
Was looking forward to seeing my bed after so long; but it snowed and Seattlites flocked to the freeway to get home. So now I'm stuck here (in schooooolll) monitoring the traffic conditions.
I thought I had 20 dollars. So I went into Starbucks, dreaming up a nice warm cuppa latte... I stepped in, attracting the attention of more than a few people. The lady asked me if she "could get" me "anything?". Somehow something was nagging me... so I told her "actually, I need to check how much I have.." then I opened up my wallet. What I thought was a 20 dollar bill was a.. ONE dollar bill!!!! Shocked and flabbergasted at the situation I was in, I mumbled "erm. I dont have enough..." and that did it. It FULLY sealed the deal of malu-ating myself!!! So I walked out, in plain sight of the more than select few people who were still staring at me.
Gah so much for nice warm cuppa latte. :( If it snowed in Singapore, at least I could walk home..
And I have ONE dollar for the night. Great. Thanks.
Well at least I'm still in school with access to a bathroom, computer, and water. My bro is out there in traffic since 4.30pm, hope he's doing ok.
